Chip off

During a visit to Portland off the coast of England I was asked to produce a sculpture by the Portland Sculpture trust, as a reflective piece about the island. With no experience in lettering, I worked for a week, carving this typographic outcome into a piece of Portland rock found in the quarry. This was my attempt at a visual pun that I intent to develop into a poster in the near future.

Posters are available to buy and are A2.
E-mail me at hello@breakandassemble.com if you would like a copy, or prints of anything else seen on the site.
